Well, since you appear from your writings to be a neocon Republican who is not really interested in listening to and intelligently considering points of view other than your own, you can't accurately speak for Democrats about whose analyses and motivations you know remarkably little (although you kid yourself that you do). I can assure you the the party is not being torn asunder along racial lines by us. It's the right wing media that is trying to do so. Why don't you write about the un-American attempt by Limbaugh to skew the votes through Operation Chaos, for example? Don't tell me you support such manipulations of our voting system. I'm pretty sure it wasn't what the founding fathers and writers of constitutional amendments had in mind.

As a southerner who knows little about the mood of voters in other parts of the country, you wouldn't know, for instance, that at rallies for Obama and Clinton lots of people wear buttons and stickers for BOTH candidates simultaneously.
