Below is some photo and video (and a few linked articles) related to SGTs Moser and Corriveau's receipt of Distinguished Service Crosses yesterday at Fort Bragg, NC for their heroic actions in a rooftop battle in Samarra last August.

I do not know what medal that is displayed behind Katie Couric's right shoulder, but it is not the Distinguished Service Cross. Granted it is too much to expect, but the CBS research staff should realize that the more blue on the ribbon the higher the award.

I believe it's the Distinguished Service Medal, rather than the Cross (which is should have been). That is indeed shoddy research, but hey -- I'm sure all those pretty colors with metal attachments look the same to them.

By the way, that's not Katie Couric; it's a fill-in.
